Kate Shingler has been working in media for nearly a decade. A graduate of Dalhousie University and Concordia's Graduate Journalism Program, Kate has lived in a number of North American cities including Toronto, New York, Montreal, Quebec City and Halifax.

Her work has been published in a variety of newspapers and magazines including JANE magazine, The Globe and Mail, The Montreal Gazette, and The New Brunswick Telegraph-Journal.

For four years Kate worked as a general assignment television reporter and producer for Global News Quebec. She lives in Montreal with her husband Bradley and their golden retriever Quinn.
